Women ko'd

TWO women due to compete in Britain's first full-scale women's boxing event were 'knocked out' before even getting into the ring. Both were unable to take part after suffering broken noses - one in a sparring bout with a man and the other hurt in a street attack. Three other competitors had to drop out after being involved in a car accident on the way to the fight, held at Bethnal Green, east London.
