Two people have been hospitalised after a footbridge over a river collapsed in North Yorkshire.
Emergency services attended the scene near the village of Cropton at around 15:00 GMT after receiving reports that two people were in the water in the River Seven.
One person was taken by air ambulance to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.
Another was taken by ambulance to Scarborough Hospital.
A BBC reporter said one person was taken from the scene: "conscious and sitting upright but covered in bandages".
