British troops are being urged to pass information about friends and colleagues to the team investigating allegations that soldiers systematically abused civilians in Iraq.

The Sunday Telegraph reported that military publications are carrying notices from the Iraq Historical Allegations Team, which is studying claims that troops carried out abuses during the British Army occupation of southern Iraq.
