A couple from Haverhill in Suffolk have claimed last week's £148.6m EuroMillions jackpot, the National Lottery said last night.

The windfall makes the pair the nation's second richest lottery winners. They are expected to reveal their plans at a press conference today.

Theirs is the seventh ticket to have hit the jackpot in the UK this year.
