An elderly woman has been freed from her home following a suspected gas explosion.
The woman was rescued by emergency crews after the blast in Penn Road in Wolverhampton, shortly after 8am, West Midlands Police said.

The bungalow collapsed and a cordon was put in place after concerns about the pensioner's safety.
Police confirmed the woman had been rescued from the rubble.
In a statement, a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Thankfully, the elderly woman is not seriously hurt.
“She is being taken to New Cross Hospital by land ambulance for further assessment.”
