As the Fischer-Spassky chess match resumed in Belgrade after a week's break, a report suggested that Bobby Fischer's next opponent may be the Hungarian girl prodigy Judit Polgar, who broke Fischer's record by becoming the youngest grandmaster at the age of 15 years and 5 months. Spassky won the 12th game in 54 moves to cut Fischer's lead to 5-3.
