William Lindsay, 57, a lorry driver from Beattock, Dumfries and Galloway, was jailed for six months at Dumfries Sheriff Court for causing the deaths of sisters aged seven and 10. Lindsay's car hit another, driven by the girls' parents, last May. He denied causing death by dangerous driving.
