Charity cards cash

MPs are to be asked to stop millions of pounds raised by charity Christmas cards falling into the hands of middlemen. Nigel Griffiths, Labour's consumer affairs spokesman, who will sponsor a Bill later this year, claimed that as little as 6p in every pounds 1 spent on charity cards reached the charities.
