Road rage on the increase

SOME 85 per cent of drivers believe aggressive driving and road rage has increased over the past three years, a Gallup poll shows. And 54 per cent say they do not believe the police are doing enough to combat this aggression.

The survey also reveals that 76 per cent of drivers say they have experienced motorists driving dangerously close behind them - a 14 per cent increase on a similar poll three years ago.
