Chrissy Teigen has hit out at Piers Morgan over his response to Jennifer Aniston’s essay about the tabloid media's “absurd objectification and body shaming” of women in the public eye.

Aniston has been widely praised for her Huffington Post blog condemning tabloids for dehumanising women by constantly scrutinising their love life, fertility and bodies, with Cheryl, Melissa McCarthy and Tanya Burr all voicing support for the Friends actress.

However, Morgan’s Mail Online column took a different approach by supporting aspects of her article but also suggesting she was hypocritical for calling out body shaming because she has appeared on magazine covers which he claims have most likely been digitally manipulated.

Teigen was someone who took offence to the article and accused Morgan of writing coloumns which "demean and criticise" women and people of colour.

“Why do you ALWAYS take the road of being the piece of sh*t a**hole?… Particularly with women and people of colour,” she asked.

In response, Morgan accused Teigen of “throwing another diva tantrum”.

The back and forth continued with the model questioning whether Morgan’s articles are “for clicks”, to which he replied calling her a “little bundle of hypocrisy” and passing the ‘clickbait’ blame back to Teigen.

Teigen signed off from her row with Morgan by sarcastically writing: “It’s ME who writes weekly columns demeaning and criticising women and black people. All me,” before labelling him “King troll”.

Morgan rebuked the suggestion he was King Troll and called her “the world’s biggest, lamest ‘celebrity’ troll”.

This could be the last time Teigen and Morgan trade blows, however, after their feud ended when Morgan announced to his five million followers Teigen had blocked him.

The pair came to blows on social media last month when Teigen's husband John Legend criticised the Good Morning Britain host for an article he wrote claiming Muhammad Ali’s said “far more inflammatory/racist things” than the presumptive Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

After the “Ordinary People” singer suggested Morgan “announce his retirement”, Teigen replied: “From what? trolling isn’t a job (I’ve tried)”, to which Morgan responded by mocking Teigen’s modelling career.
