Adele on being asked 'sexist' questions such as would consider doing Playboy: 'Is that because I'm a woman or because I'm fat?'

As a internationally recognised female singer, Adele is no stranger being asked sexist questions.
But there is one that she is tiring off particularly rapidly: would she ever consider posing naked for Playboy magazine?
After largely shunning the spotlight following the phenomenal success of her album 21, Adele has re-emerged to introduce her new album, 25.
This week, Adele appears on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine without make-up, with wet hair pushed back and while wearing a dressing gown; the antithesis of the recent Kim Kardashian cover shot by Terry Richardson.
Her pared-down cover emphasises her ownership over her own body and subverts the industry sexism that expects her to flaunt her figure in tight-fitting clothes, or none at all.
In her candid interview, the 27-year-old discussed the music industry’s propensity for critically comparing women through image, with Adele often presented as the “classy” female artist.
She said: "Would I show my body off if I was thinner? Probably not, because my body is mine. But sometimes I'm curious to know if I would have been as successful if I wasn't plus-size. I think I remind everyone of themselves. Not saying everyone is my size, but it's relatable because I'm not perfect, and I think a lot of people are portrayed as perfect, unreachable and untouchable."
Adele said a number of the questions she receives as a woman are painfully predictable, including one that keeps reoccurring.
"I've been asked 'Would you do Playboy?' so many fucking times, it's ridiculous," she added. "And is that because I'm a woman or because I'm fat?”
