THE M25 MURDER suspect Kenneth Noye was in British police custody last night after losing his fight against extradition from Spain.

Mr Noye, 51, will appear before Dartford magistrates' court today, a spokesman for Kent police said.

He is wanted in connection with the road-rage stabbing of Stephen Cameron in 1996 on an M25 slip road near Swanley.

Mr Noye's claims that he was illegally identified before his arrest in Spain and that media coverage prejudiced his chance of a fair trial were rejected by judges at the extradition hearing in Madrid in March.

The police spokesman said: "Kenneth Noye is in custody and he will be appearing at Dartford magistrates' court."
