IRANIAN authorities arrested Hadi Hashemi, son-in-law of the dissident Ayatollah Hossein Ali Montazeri, on charges linked to unrest by backers of the cleric. Ayatollah Montazeri was put under house arrest after questioning the authority of the supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
