India and Russia co-operate on defence

India and Russia will sign a defence agreement on long-term military co-operation, during a visit by Russia's Prime Minister, Yevgeny Primakov. Mr Primakov and Atal Banerjee will also sign agreements concerned with extradition, trade and air transport.
