The prospects of My Emma taking part in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe tomorrow week look a little brighter after the filly cantered on the gallops at Newmarket yesterday. Her participation at Longchamp had been put in jeopardy when she slipped and banged herself.

Rae Guest, her trainer, said yesterday: "My Emma went about five and a half furlongs at a good pace and I was pleased with her. Everything went fine. If she is OK then we will do some proper work with her on Sunday or Monday in a gallop."
