Wolverhampton to sell 300 pubs

WOLVERHAMPTON & Dudley Breweries, the pubs group which also brews Heineken and Kronenbourg 1664 in the UK, is putting 300 pubs up for sale, including 280 from its tenanted division.

The group's finance director, Ralph Findlay (pictured), said there had been several expressions of interest but there were no buyers lined up. Following the sales, the group expects to have around 1,500 pubs.
