STOKE-ON-TRENT-based Portmeirion Potteries has appointed Kami Farhadi as group chief executive. Mr Farhadi, who joined Portmeirion in 1980, was most recently operations

director with responsibilities including production, and had been carrying out the duties of chief executive since 4 June.
