FOUR teenagers have been detained in connection with an ammunition depot explosion in southern Russia, according to a news agency report. More than 1,500 125-millimetre tank shells blew up on Saturday night at an army ammunition depot on the outskirts of Volgograd, 550 miles south- east of Moscow. No one was injured. The boys, said they had been trying to steal powder charges to sell.
