The Independent joined mother and baby ballet organisation Barre and Baby for a live performance with a group of mums.

It is the UK's first ballet class for pregnant women and new mothers, where babies are encouraged to join in.

It is designed to help "prepare physically, mentally and spiritually for pregnancy, birth and early motherhood".

Here the participants are taking part in a class at the bar.
