On Sunday night, after 18 series, 'Spitting Image' will poke fun at the Establishment for the last time. The show that broke the satirical mould with its grotesque latex puppets has been axed by ITV. Created by Peter Fluck and Roger Law in 1983,

the show has been accused of blasphemy, sacrilege and even wrecking the career of David Steel.
