Bad-taste crisps: An advertising agency in Thailand has expressed regrets after complaints from Israeli diplomats over a television advert for crisps. The ad features images of Adolf Hitler and a swastika changing into the logo for X potato chips.

The Thais that bind: Pitak Patjun, a 5,000-metre runner for Thailand, celebrated his wedding day by joining some 2,000 guests in a 10-km race. As he crossed the finishing line, he presented his waiting bride, Saipin Suetrong, who also runs for Thailand, with a marriage certificate.
