PC, Xbox 360, SouthPeak, £29.99-£39.99

What do you call a stealth shooter that doesn’t let you hide effectively and is so miserly with the weapons that when you find a gun, it’s all you can do not to shoot yourself to relieve the frustration? Velvet Assassin, that’s what. It’s set during the Second World War, and the heroine, Violette Summer, has to despatch as many Nazis as possible. Clunky, predictable and hampered by idiotic AI.
