Graham Potter reveals he had sleepless night ahead of new West Ham job
Graham Potter has been sacked as West Ham United's head coach just five games into the new season.
The decision followed a 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace, marking West Ham's third home loss of the campaign, alongside a 5-1 thrashing by Chelsea.
West Ham confirmed the sacking, stating that “results and performances... have not matched expectations” since Potter took charge eight months ago.
Potter managed the club for only 25 games, securing six wins, five draws, and 14 defeats, leading to a poor end to last season and a potential relegation battle.
This marks Potter's second consecutive sacking, having previously been dismissed by Chelsea, and Gary O'Neil is reportedly among the candidates to replace him.
