Six Flags’ newest roller coaster breaks world records
- Six Flags Over Texas is set to open the Tormenta Rampaging Run next year, which will be the world's tallest, fastest, and longest dive coaster.
- The new attraction will lift riders to 309 feet before a beyond-vertical 95-degree drop from 285 feet.
- It will reach speeds of up to 87 mph and feature a track stretching 4,199 feet.
- Tormenta Rampaging Run will also boast the world's tallest vertical loop at 179 feet and the highest Immelmann inversion at 218 feet, making it the first “giga dive” coaster.
- The ride, themed after the running of the bulls, will be the centerpiece of a new immersive area called Rancho de la Tormenta, opening in 2026 to coincide with the park's 65th anniversary.
