  • Rackhams, a luxury department store originally founded in Birmingham in 1881, has returned to the UK after a 25-year absence.
  • The brand, once owned by Harrods and then House of Fraser, has relaunched exclusively as an online digital marketplace.
  • CEO Mark Jordan stated that Rackhams' "marketplace-first approach" is central to its business, prioritising customer and partner experience.
  • The new online store offers a diverse range of products, including designer brands, boutique labels, and everyday essentials across various categories.
  • Since its soft launch in 2023, Rackhams has already welcomed over 600 partners and shipped tens of thousands of orders, with further growth expected.
