- The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. Eastern Time between Endeavor Air Flight 5047, arriving from Charlotte, North Carolina, and Endeavor Flight 5155, scheduled to depart for Roanoke, Virginia.
- A flight attendant sustained a knee injury in the collision and was taken to hospital after receiving treatment at the scene.
- Audio from the pilot of Flight 5047 indicated that one plane's right wing clipped the other's nose and cockpit windscreens.
- There were 32 people on board Flight 5155 and 61 people on Flight 5047, but the Port Authority confirmed there was no impact on overall airport operations.
