Donald Trump commenced his second state visit to the UK with an elaborate ceremonial welcome, featuring significant military pomp and pageantry.
He was personally greeted by the King and his immediate family, including the Princess of Wales, and participated in a carriage procession to Windsor Castle.
The welcome involved approximately 1,500 troops and the largest Guard of Honour for a state visit in living memory, with enhanced security measures in place.
During the visit, Mr Trump viewed US artefacts from the Royal Collection, including a letter from Abraham Lincoln to Queen Victoria, highlighting the UK-US special relationship.
The state visit concluded with a banquet where the Princess of Wales wore a British-designed couture creation, and guests enjoyed a menu featuring British produce and a Transatlantic Whisky Sour.
