Israel moves to seize ‘operational control’ in parts of Gaza

Israeli airstrikes killed at least 100 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip on Saturday night and Sunday morning, including women, children, and journalists, according to the Gaza health ministry.
One strike on a tent encampment housing displaced families caused significant casualties and destruction, health officials said.
Israel is preparing a ground offensive to gain "operational control" in parts of Gaza.
Hamas blamed the US for the escalation and says it offered to release some hostages in exchange for a ceasefire and prisoner release. However, negotiations haven't yielded a breakthrough.
Gaza's healthcare system is struggling due to the attacks and a blockade on medical supplies.
