Michael Lewis, 55, from Denton, Texas, has been sentenced to two and a half years in prison for stalking Indiana Fever basketball star Caitlin Clark.
Lewis pleaded guilty to stalking after sending over 800 vulgar and sexually explicit messages to Clark on X between December 2024 and January 2025.
He was also accused of travelling from Texas to Indianapolis, visiting locations associated with Clark and purchasing tickets to games she was expected to attend.
Clark reportedly became paranoid and changed her appearance in public due to fear, leading to Lewis's arrest after he continued contact despite police warnings.
In addition to his prison sentence, Lewis received a 180-day suspended sentence, a stay-away order from Clark and related venues, and is banned from using the internet.
