Over 500,000 products sold online by Amazon have been recalled by their manufacturers due to various safety concerns, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (USCPSC).
The recalls, announced last week, encompass a range of items including baby loungers, mobiles, children's helmets, and portable power packs, citing risks such as fire hazards, suffocation, and injury.
The largest recall affects 481,000 Anker Power Banks due to fire and burn hazards caused by overheating lithium-ion batteries, with consumers advised to stop using them immediately.
Other significant recalls include 3,000 Youbeien Crib Mobiles over battery ingestion hazards and almost 1,800 YooxArmor children's helmets for failing mandatory safety standards.
Additionally, 5,500 Arizer Solo II Portable Vaporizers were recalled for hazardous lithium batteries, and 360 LXDHSTRA Baby Loungers for suffocation and fall risks, violating federal safety regulations.
