Jessie Thompson is The Independent's Culture Editor, leading coverage of film, TV, music, books, art and theatre. She previously worked at the Evening Standard, where she was Deputy Arts Editor and one of the paper’s two theatre critics. She has chaired panels for various arts festivals including Henley, Charleston and Wilderness, and appeared on the Radio 4 Today Programme and BBC Woman’s Hour.
