Though Steve Bannon’ s influence on the White House has been somewhat diminished, the strategist having been fired by Donald Trump earlier this year, the Breitbart editor remains a highly talked about figure.
Over the weekend, Bannon gave his first interview since leaving the President’s administration, talking about the important questions, including being portrayed as the Grim Reaper on Saturday Night Live.
“I don’t need the affirmation of the mainstream media. I don’t care what they say,” he told interviewer Charlie Rose, via Entertainment Weekly.
“They can call me an anti-Semite. They can call me racist. They call me nativist. You can call me anything you want. Okay? As long as we’re driving this agenda for the working men and women of this country, I’m happy.”
