In a cruel juxtaposition of US and UK TV, the Queen has followed up on her Game of Thrones set visit in Northern Ireland by stopping in at Antiques Roadshow.

The Queen and Prince Philip will have some of their own treasures valued by the show's experts, on the last day of their visit to the country.

Yesterday she hugely disappointed GoT fans when she hovered near the Iron Throne only to not actually sit on it – a photo opportunity that some suggested might actually break the internet.

The HBO show has brought huge financial benefit to Northern Ireland and has created hundreds of jobs, with production set to continue there as it heads into its fifth season.

The Queen will meet Fiona Bruce at her official NI residence Hillsborough Castle to film for the show, before moving on to Coleraine, County Londonderry for a World War One commemoration.
