The spoils of the first autumn weekend are divided. BBC 1 was strong on Saturday primetime with ET (11.45m) seeing off ITV's The Karate Kid (8.19m). The old fallback, 10 Years of Alright on the Night (12.06m) then put ITV in a lead, which was sustained by the News (10.81m) and Predator (11.43m). Sunday was similar: Keeping Up Appearances (10.73m) and Birds of a Feather (12.33m) performed strongly for BBC 1 early on, then ITN's Diana - The End of a Fairytale? swept up with 13.62m.
