Exhibition to tell history of Royal Ballet

Royal Ballet principal dancers Tamara Rojo and Sergei Polunin found themselves face to face with some of their illustrious predecessors at a major new exhibition that tells the story of the Royal Ballet from its foundations in the late 1920s to the present day.

The exhibition, Invitation to the Ballet: Ninette de Valois and the story of The Royal Ballet, is a joint venture btween Royal Opera House Collections and The Lowry, Salford, and runs from Saturday until March 6.
