Peter Bjorn and John are midwives to greatness. They've often been present when amazing things have happened (eg Lykke Li's debut album), but their own work seldom touches those heights.

There's a lot of space on Living Thing, with melodies sketched out by sparse piano while the drums do most of the work. There's also a significant Beatles influence, or, to be exact, solo Lennon if he was produced by Norman Cook. It peaks with "Nothing to Worry About", which uses a children's chorus to highly radio-friendly effect.
