There are plenty of reasons to celebrate today. Not only is it 50 years since James Bond hit cinema screens, but it is also five decades since The Beatles released their debut single "Love Me Do".

It was released on 5 October 1962 by Parlophone. It enter the charts at Number 1, peaking at 17 two months after it came out.
