Australian electronica group Cut Copy is the music blogospere's hottest act, according to The Hype Machine on January 24. American indie duo Tennis moves into second place while US band Cold War Kids take third.

California-based quartet Cold War Kids debuts in the top ten as bloggers are reviewing tracks from the band's third and upcoming new album, Mine Is Yours, set to be released January 25. "As expected, this album is anthematic, pop and bluesy," writes blogger Friends with Both Arms (www.friendswithbotharms.com). "It sounds very Kings of Leon."

Five-piece pop band The Decemberists, from Portland, Oregon, are a hot topic after the release of their latest album, The King Is Dead, on January 18. "They have managed to keep their branded sound uniquely their own," reviews Indie Rock Café (www.indierockcafe.com), "and continue to release awesome, ballad-heavy folk pop songs that appeal to a wide audience of music lovers."
