Singer Marc Anthony and iconic Mexican group Los Temerarios will be among honorees at the 2010 Billboard Latin Music Awards, announced Billboard.com on April 14. The awards ceremony, set for April 29, will be the culmination of Billboard's Latin Music Conference, the world's largest annual industry event devoted to Latin music.

Anthony will receive the Billboard Spirit of Hope Award for his philanthropic work, while Los Temerarios is being honored with a lifetime achievement award for a nearly 30-year career straddling regional Mexican and pop music.

Among award finalists, which are determined based on Billboard charts, are reggaeton singer Tito "El Bambino," reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel, Dominican bachata group Aventura, and regional Mexican singer/songwriter Espinoza Paz. Flo Rida, The Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys, and Lady Gaga are all finalists in crossover categories.

Juan Luis Guerra, Camila, Thalia, Tito "El Bambino," Joan Sebastian, Pitbull, and David Bisbal will be among performers at the awards ceremony, which will take place in Puerto Rico on April 29 at 7:0 0pm EST and be aired live on Telemundo, which syndicates to more than 100 countries.

The Billboard Latin Music Conference brings together Latin music artists and other professionals for events including panel discussions and live music showcases. The 2010 conference, scheduled for April 26-29 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, will include a Q&A with Aventura and a session with Marc Anthony.
