Glastonbury 2015: How the other half lives in pop up hotels and luxury yurts

If you have a few grand going spare, why not make your Glastonbury experience all the more comfortable?

We take a look at the most outrageously luxurious alternatives to camping run by some rather canny entrepreneurs:

Roundhouse Yurts - £800

Rent a beautifully decorated Yurt from £500 and the Roundhouse Yurt company will erect, dismantle and collect it for you just outside the main Glastonbury fence.

Festival-goers can also rent a double bed to go in the yurt with full bedding from £150. A wood burning stove will set you back £75.

Snoozebox - £1,995

If yurts and tipis just won't do it for you, a Snoozebox will make you feel just like you're inside a mini hotel room.

Two people can be housed for £1,995 at Glastonbury and the location could not be much better - just a 15 minutes walk outside Gate A.

Land & Sky - £5,595

Sleep tight in a four poster bed in a 40-tent yurt and tipi campsite in a field just outside Gate C. Facilities include hot showers and clean toilets as well as a chef cooking local produce throughout the day.

The £5k price tag includes a ticket to the festival with standard and hospitality access. Prices for families begin at £9,495 plus VAT.

The Pop Up Hotel - £10,000

For those who want to go all-out at the festival, The Tenthouse suite at The Pop Up Hotel costs £10,000 for eight guests. Otherwise a classic room for two people sharing (below) located 10 minutes' walk outside Gate D will set you back a mere £1,799.

The hotel includes a swimming pool, wi-fi access in the main area, a beauty spa, camp fire, a 'street food' area serving a range of different menu options and a bar.

Hotel Bell Tent - £2,350

Bed down under Egyptian cotton sheets and a 13 tog duvet in a luxury yurt package including standard Glastonbury tickets in the Hospitality camping field behind the John Peel stage.

Special extras include a memory foam mattress, a Chesterfield-style sofa and cushions and a director's chair.

Green Yurts - £350

While this yurt package is priced more reasonably than some, it will still cost festival-goers almost double the price of their Glastonbury ticket. Even £250 for an unfurnished Yurt could buy you two return flights to Europe.
