Sir: I read with disgust Ken Livingstone's apologia for Castro.

Rather than go into the shocking details of 40 years of dictatorship inflicted on these poor people why don't you go whole hog and invite Margaret Thatcher to sing the praises of Augusto Pinochet?

Then Ken and Maggie can dance off together into the sunset loudly mourning the passing of the golden age of dictators. I couldn't think of a more fitting end for two radical loonies.
