Sir: The first Bible printed in Ireland is the New Testament printed in Irish in Dublin in 1602 (Thursday Book, 9 December); a complete English Bible was printed there in 1714. Several other Irish Bibles are recorded in advertisements but the earliest surviving Belfast Bible seems to be that of 1729.
