Sir: Last Saturday the National Lottery was won by one ticket again, which is not unusual. The winner gets over pounds 8m. Who needs such a large sum? If there was a maximum limit of pounds 3m, the balance could be distributed among those ticket holders with five numbers plus bonus, which this week would have resulted in 12 winning approximately pounds 600,000 each.
