Sir: Your report (26 June) was the only one I read or heard to identify the trigger which culminated in the bombing of Beirut: the shelling by the South Lebanese Army, Israel's surrogate, of Kabrika village. Isn't it time the myth of big, bad Hizbollah and poor little Israel was buried, and genuine efforts were made to ensure Israel's compliance with UN rulings?
