The Pyramid, film review: Murky, found-footage horror film is silly in the extreme
(15) Grégory Levasseur, 89 mins. Starring: Ashley Hinshaw, James Buckley, Denis O'Hare

This murky, found-footage horror film is set almost entirely in the underground pyramid in which archaeologist Denis O'Hare, his daughter Ashley Hinshaw and a documentary crew (including James Buckley from The Inbetweeners) have ventured and become stranded.
Some of the shock tactics are effective enough (characters being crushed under stones or impaled on spikes or having their hearts ripped out) but the storyline is silly in the extreme. "We need to find an exit right now," someone shouts early on. Audiences may well find themselves sharing the sentiment.
