Love Is In The Air, film review: A formulaic romantic comedy
(Nc) Alexandre Castagnetti, 96 mins Starring: Ludivine Sagnier, Nicolas Bedos
This formulaic romantic comedy, released in time for Valentine's Day, is set on a plane during a flight from New York to Europe.
Two former lovers (Ludivine Sagnier and Nicolas Bedos) who now heartily detest one another, end up sitting side by side in first class. During the flight, there are constant flashbacks to earlier moments in their relationship.
Inevitably, as they rake over the past and endure a bumpy, turbulent journey, the hostility gradually thaws. Sagnier brings an appealing mix of screwball humour and vulnerability to her role.
