I'd tell you to forget Sylvester Stallone's overblown Judge Dredd movie, but you probably already have.
This reboot, scripted by Alex (The Beach) Garland, puts British comics' much-loved anti-hero – a fascistic 22nd-century lawman – into a tough, stripped-down action movie with just the right amount of deadpan comedy.
