Arnold Schwarzenegger used his Terminator catchphrase to spread some positivity during coronavirus lockdown.

The 72-year-old actor posted a picture to Instagram as he went on a bike ride on the near empty Santa Monica Pier while wearing a black mask with the words “we’ll be back” printed on it.

“We’ll be back. We will get through this together,” he captioned the post, linking to a shop where fans could buy their own copy of the mask. All profits will go to his charity After-School All-Stars, which is working to deliver food to struggling families during the health crisis.

Schwarzenegger has been using his social media to keep people positive during lockdown, sharing a video in March urging fans to stay indoors and self-isolate while feeding carrots to his pet ponies.

“The important thing is that you stay at home because there’s a curfew now,” the former governor of California said from his kitchen table.

“No one is allowed out. Especially someone who is 72 years old. After 65, you’re not allowed out your house anymore in California, so you gotta stay home. That’s what we do. We don’t go to restaurants, we don’t go to anything like that anymore here.”

Referencing his pets, he added: “We just eat with Whiskey and with Lulu and have a good time and get entertained.”
