Susan Hiller

First solo show in this country for American-born Hiller, one of the stars of last year's "Rites of Passage" exhibition at the Tate in London. Seductive, hallucinatory videos which update romantic narrative notions of memory and death.

Tate Liverpool, Albert Dock (0151-709 3223). To 17 Mar

Diaghilev

A celebration of the ballet impresario and collector Sergei Diaghilev. Works by Bakst, Cocteau, Goncharova and Benois.

Barbican Art Gallery (0171-638 4141). Thurs to 14 Apr

Young Americans I

In a nice reciprocal gesture for the recent wave of young British art in the USA, the Saatchi offers a look at the work of four American artists from its own collection, including Janine Antoni's licked and gnawed chocolate bars, Gregory Green's potentially lethal home-made bombs, Sean Landers's frenzied writings on the wall and Charles Long's models of amorphous rubber lumps which recall that B-movie classic Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Don't miss it.

Saatchi Gallery, 98a Boundary Rd, NW8 (0171-624 8299). Thurs to 3 Mar (Thurs-Sun only)
