Lord Leighton

Three exhibitions celebrate the centenary of the only artist ever elevated to the peerage. The Royal Academy has the paintings - neo-classical tableaux, demure portraits and essays in covert eroticism. The V&A unveils Leighton's frescoes. Leighton's house has been arranged as it was during his lifetime.

RA, London W1 (0171-439 7438) Thurs to 21 Apr; V&A, London SW7 (0171- 938 8500), Thurs to 8 Sept; Leighton House, London W14 (0171-361 2295), Fri to 21 Apr

Georgina Starr

For "The Hungry Brain", Starr has used video to create a personal universe inhabited by a weird cast of characters, often played by the artist herself.

Tate Gallery, London SW1 (0171-887 8000), today to 7 Apr

Cezanne

One of the major exhibitions of the decade. Here is the real Cezanne, at once analytical formalist and passionate, frustrated artist.

Tate Gallery, to 28 Apr. Booking through First Call (fee charged) on 0171-420 0000
